Sanatech - the new trade show, conference and training event - caters for a broad spectrum of organic, environmentally sustainable production sectors: agro-food, animal husbandry, forestry, personal care, bio-cosmetics and environmental protection. It is Italy's professional response to the Green Deal project recently launched by the European Union.

Sanatech is designed for both professionals already engaged in organic production but also all those planning to soon be part of a sector offering extraordinary opportunities.

In order to carry out this important task, given the breadth and complexity of the supply chains involved, Sanatech must be based on solid technical and scientific guidelines covering the full production supply chain, including primary and secondary processing but also the latest climate safeguard and clean energy measures.

This key task is the responsibility of the Sanatech Advisory Board, whose members include major FederBio organic production companies and operators in the processing and innovation sectors.

The various Board members provide key input on their sector of reference. The result will be an international event that will reflect the state-of-the-art of the broad organic production sector, highlight best-practice production and environmental solutions, and pass them to a raft of professional training and communication events.

AIPP

Associazione Italiana per la Protezione delle Piante

The Italian Association for Plant Protection (AIPP) was founded in 1992 with the aim of promoting knowledge and innovations in the use of methods and means of protecting plants from biotic and abiotic adversities. The more than 450 AIPP Members work in universities and research centers, phytosanitary services, assay centers, companies that produce technical means or provide services related to plant protection, field consultancy, dissemination and technical and scientific information. These Associates deal with the various aspects related to plant protection, from the identification of causal agents to the definition of the most appropriate strategies for protection against pests, with a broad and cross-cutting vision, providing different problems with a system approach. In addition to the website www.aipp.it, information on events organized and sponsored by AIPP for Members and supporters are at the Facebook page, with its 8 thematic groups, Twitter account, LinkedIn and Instagram profiles, and YouTube channel. In the past year, AIPP has participated in more than 30 events (roundtables, webinars, conferences) related to plant protection, announced awards for videos on "Plant Protection in a Minute" (available on the YouTube channel) and PhD awards on the topic. A.N.I.D.

Associazione Nazionale Imprese Disinfestazione

Founded on 21 April 1997, the National Association of Pest Control Companies (A.N.I.D.) is headquartered in Rome but with its Secretariat in Forlì. Its 470 member companies operate in the environmental hygiene sector, in particular providing pest and rodent control and disinfection services.
At European level, A.N.I.D. is a member of CEPA (the Confederation of European Pest Associations), the umbrella confederation headquartered in Brussels and representing all European associations, including those recently formed in Eastern European countries.
A.N.I.D. held the Presidency of CEPA from September 2002 to 2004.
In Italy, A.N.I.D. represents pest control companies throughout the country. Members include pest control service providers, as well as manufacturers and distributors of pest control products in all regions of Italy. The list of members can be viewed on our website (www.disinfestazione.org). A.N.I.D. member companies employ a large proportion of the several thousand workers in a sector, which both in Italy and the rest of Europe is undergoing technological and professional change, driven largely by the introduction of compulsory norms such as EU Regulations 852-853/2004 on food hygiene, EC Reg. 1272/2008 (the Biocides Directive), but also by the more stringent health measures in the wake of emerging hazards such as human and environmental arboviruses. A.N.I.D. is a signatory of the 2001 Italian National Collective Labour Agreement and the Labour Agreement of 19.12.2007, updated and supplemented on 31 May 2011, which covers workers in the multiservice, cleaning and pest control sectors. The services provided by A.N.I.D. members impact: the Health sector, given the products used – which are classified according to their toxicity - and the methods employed; the Industrial sector, since its specialist operations require highly skilled, continuously updated professionals; Welfare, given the fact that as part of a modern market economy, our sector provides many job opportunities; and finally, the Environment, with our commitment to ensuring the lowest environmental impact possible and to averting any ecological issues. The Association regularly engages with trade unions on behalf of its members and represents them before the competent public authorities. As well as keeping its members updated on a range of pertinent issues, providing relevant material, A.N.I.D. communicates with the specialist and general press and other information channels on sector topics. The Association represents its members at trade association level, provides basic middle-management training for its members, organizes conferences, technical and business meetings, and represents member companies at European and international level.

SOCIETA’ ITALIANA DI CHIMICA AGRARIA

SICA, the Italian Society of Agricultural Chemistry was founded in 1981 as a point of reference for researchers and experts from a range of institutions, such as universities, consortia, industrial and other bodies engaged in the study and experimentation of chemical and biochemical substances in agriculture. SICA aims to disseminate knowledge and promote study and research into chemicals in agriculture, taking into account the effects of chemical activity on farming productivity and the environmental factors determining outcomes. The Society’s current area of scientific interest is mainly the chemical, biochemical, physiological and environmental features of the soil-water-plant-environment system, the interaction of these factors, and the process of accumulation, mobilisation and absorption of both useful and harmful endogenous and exogenous chemical substances under optimal and stressed conditions. Biotechnological investigations to identify innovative technical methods of regulating ways to improve yields and their quality, and preserve, improve and restore soil fertility and health are also of major importance.
